"Canceling Took More Effort Than It Should Have"
I signed up for americanmotorcyclist.com and later decided to cancel, but I still got billed anyway. I ended up having to reach out to support and wait for them to get back to me. To be fair, they did fix it in the end, but the whole thing felt avoidable. Not the worst experience, just more frustrating than it needed to be

Check-in was super easy and everything actually ran right on schedule. If anything, my only issue was bad timing on my end, I showed up right when a bunch of other people did—but the event itself was really smooth.

Shipping was decent overall, but it did show up a bit late. I don’t really buy all the polished “fast and reliable” wording companies use, so I wasn’t shocked. At least it arrived in one piece

I’ve used americanmotorcyclist.com a few times now, i’m not sure what there is to complain about. The site is easy to use, the info is clear, and the pages load without giving me a headache. I didn’t run into any weird popups or anything that felt sketchy, either. Maybe other people have different experiences, but from what I’ve seen, it seems like a solid, trustworthy site for riders.

I mainly signed up for the roadside assistance and the discounts, for the price, it’s been worth it. Knowing I’ve got help if my car decides to betray me on the side of the road is a huge relief. The only downside is that some parts of the website feel like they’ve been frozen in time, and finding things can be a bit of a treasure hunt. Still, overall, I’m happy I joined.

"It feels good knowing riders have a voice"
I’ve got to say, it’s reassuring to see them actually speak up for riders. It’s not perfect every single time, but I genuinely feel like they’re trying to push for things that matter to us. That makes a difference, especially when you’re used to feeling like nobody’s really listening.

I renewed my AMA membership on americanmotorcyclist.com. It was painless. I had to look around a bit to find the right page. But checkout worked fine. The confirmation came through fast. No real issues.

I had trouble getting into my account again, and it’s starting to feel like they don’t really want to make the process easy. The reset email took way longer than expected, and the site kept glitching out like it was trying to send me in circles. Maybe it’s just a bad system, but it definitely gave me the feeling that they’re hoping people just give up.

"Roadside help was actually decent"
My bike wouldn’t start on Sunday, so I ended up having to call roadside assistance. Not ideal, obviously. It took a bit longer than I was hoping, like I kept wondering if I should’ve tried something else, but the driver did show up and got everything sorted. Finding the number on the website was easy enough too, which helped. Overall, good service, just... yeah, not the fastest...

I found a discount on americanmotorcyclist.com and, from what I remember, it worked without any hassle. I can’t recall the exact amount I saved, but it was enough to feel better than paying full price. Nothing huge, but easy to use and definitely worth trying.

I’ve been enjoying this magazine so far. It’s a good read, and the quality feels nice too. Nothing over the top, just a solid magazine that’s worth checking out.

Support did end up getting back to me and fixed my issue, which I appreciated. I was just frustrated waiting around at first because I needed it handled sooner. Once they responded, though, everything went smoothly.

"I’ve had my AMA membership for..."
I’ve had my AMA membership for a little while now, and it’s been worth it for me. The roadside assistance is the big one, and I’ve used a couple of the discounts too. I kind of suspect the savings could add up more than people realize if you actually remember to use them, though I haven’t exactly done the math.
I also like getting the magazine and having ride and event info all in one spot. The website isn’t anything super flashy, but it’s simple enough and gets me where I need to go. Feels like it’s mostly built for riders who just want the info without a bunch of extra stuff.

"Event registration was more annoying than it should’ve been"
I tried signing up for an event on americanmotorcyclist.com, and it was more of a hassle than I expected. The pages were loading slowly, and at one point it kicked me back and made me re-enter some of my info, which was annoying.
I did eventually get registered, but the confirmation email took a while to show up and wasn’t very clear. I also had to double-check the receipt to make sure everything actually went through. For a paid event, I expected the whole process to feel a little smoother

I thought the class was helpful overall and I did learn a good amount. Some of the lessons were useful, but uh, a few parts felt a little outdated and could probably be updated to make it feel more current.
